I thought I'd share a quick post revealing what's on my reading radar for 2018.
My reading list is already way out of control, but there are already a few books coming out this year that I'm looking forward to.
I don't know about anyone else, but even though there are a ton of books I've been wanting to read on my reading list, I'm a sucker for newly published books. I can't explain it, but it just is.

Blood Fury (Black Dagger Legacy #3) by J.R. Ward
Releasing on January 9th, 2018
With this much-anticipated third instalment from the Black Dagger Legacy spin-off series being released next week, this series is at the top of my reading list for 2018.
A vampire aristocrat, Peyton is well aware of his duty to his bloodline: mate with an appropriate female of his class and carry on his family’s traditions. And he thought he’d found his perfect match—until she fell in love with someone else. Yet when his split-second decision in a battle with the enemy endangers the life of another trainee, Peyton has to face the idea that his future, and his heart, actually lie with another.
Novo, as a female in the Black Dagger Brotherhood’s training program, feels like she has to prove herself to everybody—and she has no interest in being distracted by falling in love. But when Peyton proves to be so much more than a rich playboy, she is forced to confront the tragedy that has broken her soul and closed her off from love.
As the two grapple with Novo’s past and Peyton’s present, another couple must contend with an erotic connection that is unparalleled—and potentially scandalous. Saxton, who has had his heart broken, discovers in himself a deep-seated attraction to Ruhn, a new member of the household. But will the other male explore the connection? Or will he close his mind and his heart to what could be true love . . . and cost Saxton everything?

I love everything I've read that Susan Fanetti has written - whether it's mob/mafia, MC, viking or standalone novels - I'm a huge fan of her writing. I'm excited to read this latest book, which sounds like the author is expanding into historical romance.

England, 1910.
Lady Nora Tate is a young woman caught between the expectations of her station and the demands of her own heart and mind. The noble world of her birth is a luxurious cage, locking her away from all she wishes to know and feel and do, the woman she wishes to be. All around her, the world is changing, and she fights to join it, even as she creates scandal with her every attempt to break free.
William Frazier is the scion of an American railroad tycoon, in England to seek new business opportunities for his family’s empire and visit his good friend, Lord Christopher Tate. With Chris as his guide, he tours the London Season, and meets his friend’s younger sister. He’s captivated at once by the lovely young lady with the sharp wit and searching eyes.
Raised by visionary parents, William sees Nora’s cage for what it is and admires her striving against constraint. But her world will neither free her, nor accept him. William would be her hero and save her, but Nora wants to save herself, if she can.
Set against the tumultuous cultural and political backdrop of the end of the Edwardian Era, on two continents and across an ocean, Nothing on Earth & Nothing in Heaven is a story about the deep love between a young woman finding her voice, and the man strong enough to stand at her side as she demands the right to use it.
Man Card (Man Hands #2) by Sarina Bowen and Tania Eby
Releasing on January 15th, 2018
At the tail end of 2017 I read Man Hands, which was book one in this series. It was laugh-out-loud funny and had me chuckling away through parts of the reading experience. I can't wait to see what's in store for the next book in the series. Hopefully, it's plenty more laughs!

Ash
I still don't know how it happened. One minute I was arguing with my arrogant competitor--our usual trash-talk over who deserves the larger commission. But somehow I went from throwing down to kneeling down...
It can never happen again. I don't even like Braht. He's too slick. He's a manipulating mansplaining party boy in preppy clothes.
So why can't I get him out of my head?
Braht
There are two things I know without question. One: Ash and I are destined for each other. Two: never trust a man with a unibrow.
Ash is my missing my piece. She's the sweet cream to my gourmet espresso. And nothing gets me going faster than her contempt for me. They don't call her the Ashkicker for nothing.
Eventually I'll win her over...if my past doesn't ruin everything first.
Rescuing Casey (Delta Force Heroes #7) by Susan Stoker
Releasing on January 16th, 2018
I've become a huge fan of Susan Stoker's Delta Force Heroes series when I devoured these stories. Each book brought it's own unique storyline and raised awareness of a wide variety of different issues through strong heroes and heroines. There are two more books in this series expected to be published this year, and I'm also looking forward to Truck and Mary's story later this year.

One minute Casey Shea was minding her own business, doing her job, teaching entomology to college students, and the next she was in the middle of the Costa Rican jungle fighting for her life.
Troy “Beatle” Lennon had watched his friends fall head over heels in love, but never thought it would happen to him. Until he sees a picture of one of his teammates’ sisters. That was it. The absolute joy in her eyes calls to him in a way he can't understand.
But that joy is currently being threatened by an unknown person who’d had Casey kidnapped and hidden deep in the jungle. It’s up to Beatle to find her and keep her safe until the threat against her can be neutralized. Surviving the dangers of the jungle turns out to be the easy part…staying ahead of the killer is much more complicated…and deadly.
Releasing on January 23th, 2018
I'm curious about this author pairing. Jane Harvey-Berrick is one of my go-to authors. And Stu Reardon looks to be navigating the path from professional sports to modelling to writing. It'll be interesting to see how the story unfolds and whether the writing duo wins me over.
Nick Renshaw is the golden boy of British rugby. When a serious injury threatens his career, he starts to spiral downwards, a broken man. Feeling abandoned and betrayed by those closest to him, he fights to restart his life. Maybe there’s someone out there who can help him. Maybe he can find his way back toward the light. Maybe … not. Dr. Anna Scott might be the one person who can help Nick, but she has her own secrets. And when Nick’s past comes back to haunt them both, the enigmatic doctor is more vulnerable than she seems. Broken and betrayed, the struggle to survive seems intolerable. Who will give in, and who will rise, undefeated?
This one has caught my interest as it's a brand new MC series by well-known author, Christine Feehan. I haven't read many of her books, but she's a hit in fantasy and paranormal romance. I'm hoping this series will live up to it's hype.
An outlaw motorcycle club sets up shop next door to Sea Haven in the dangerously sexy new series from #1 New York Times bestselling author Christine Feehan.
As the enforcer of the Torpedo Ink motorcycle club, Reaper lives for riding and fighting. He's a stone-cold killer who turns his wrath on those who deserve it. Feelings are a weakness he can't afford--until a gorgeous bartender gets under his skin...
Near Sea Haven, the small town of Caspar has given Anya Rafferty a new lease on life. And she's desperate to hold on to her job at the biker bar, even if the scariest member of the club seems to have it out for her. But Reaper's imposing presence and smoldering looks just ratchet up the heat.
Anya's touch is everything Reaper doesn't want--and it brands him to the bone. But when her secrets catch up to her, Reaper will have to choose between Anya and his club--his heart and his soul.
The Coaching Hours (How to Date a Douchebag #4) by Sarah Ney
Releasing on February 5th, 2018
I fell in love with this series last year. Catching a good new adult series can be a challenge as there's quite a lot of repetitive storylines, generic characters or stereotypes and not much in the way of taking you on a journey. Sarah Ney's How to Date a Douchebag was a refreshing change and brought some light-hearted moments, characters with some depth as well as shining the light on some topical issues. It looks like she's upped the stakes with the latest book.

Well, there are, but they’re not who this story is about.
This story is about me—the coach’s daughter.
When I moved to Iowa to live with my dad, the university's take-no-prisoners wrestling coach, I thought transferring would be easy as pie—living with my father would be temporary, and he'd make sure his douchebag wrestlers left me alone.
Wrong on both counts.
ASSHOLES ALWAYS COME OUT OF THE WOODWORK WHEN THE STAKES ARE HIGH.
A bet is placed, and I'm on the table. After one humiliating night and too much alcohol, I find the last nice guy on campus. And when he offers to rent me his spare bedroom, I go all in. It’s time for the nice guy to finish first.
Midnight chats and spilling my problems turn to lingering touches. Lingering touches turn to more. And the ultimate good guy has the potential do more damage than any douchebags ever could.
This has been one of my favorite mob/mafia series that I have been following. My favorite in the series thus far is Carrigan and James' story in The Wedding Pact. But fingers crossed, Keira and Dmitri's story will blow my socks off. I think this is the last one in the series.
When Keira O’Malley was a child, she used to picture her perfect wedding. The flowers. The dress. Her husband. But nothing could have prepared her for saying “I do” to Dmitri Romanov—cold, domineering and always one step ahead of everyone else in the ever-shifting power plays of New York City. She agreed to his bargain to secure peace for her family, and she may want the bastard more than she’d ever admit, but she’ll be damned if she’ll make this marriage easy for him.
Dmitri knows better than to underestimate Keira for one second. Molten desire smolders between them, a dangerous addiction neither can resist. But his enemies are already on the move, and he needs every ounce of his legendary focus and control to keep them alive. Keira could just be his secret weapon—if she doesn’t bring him to his knees first.
Releasing February 20th, 2018
I discovered P. Dangelico last year when I was recommended Wrecking Ball. After that I devoured her backlist of published books. She's definitely one of my hot new authors, so I'm eagerly awaiting this first book in her new It Takes Two series.
Stella Donovan’s biological clock is a ticking time bomb.
The successful financial manager has spent her adult life building a career and neglecting her personal life. Problem is, she doesn’t believe in marriage. Not after watching her mother be treated like garbage by her father. Nope, marriage is not for her. All she wants is a baby. All she needs is a man to agree to her terms.
Dane Wylder, recently retired NFL tight end and future Hall of Famer, wants a baby.
Naturally, marriage is off the table. He’s not the marrying type. Women are great––as long as they’re trying to get into his bed and not his heart. But after years of living only for himself, he’s ready to be a father.
Sparks fly when a successful financial manager and a legendary football player enter into a legal agreement to have a kid together. They planned on everything––they just didn’t plan on each other.
From Lukov with Love by Mariana Zapata
Releasing on February 2018
Mariana Zapata is my queen of slow-burn romances. Kulti, Waiting for It and The Wall of Winnipeg and Me are on my favorite shelf and I've been know to re-read them when I'm in a reading slump. I have no idea what this new book is about and I don't really care. All I know is that I'm going to read it when it comes out!

Ivan said "yes" at the same time I said "no," giving him a dirty look as I did it.
If I could persuade Penny Reid to be my BFF I think I'd feel like I won the lottery. I've been in love with her writing since I discovered the Knitting in the City series and Elements of Chemistry series. She is the queen of smart romance and I don't think I've read anyone that has come close to her style of intelligent and witty writing. I'm sitting on the edge of my seat waiting for this book! Gimme, gimme, gimme!
There are three things you need to know about Kat Tanner (aka Kathleen Tyson. . . and yes, she is *that* Kathleen Tyson): 1) She’s determined to make good decisions, 2) She must get married ASAP, and 3) She knows how to knit.
Being a billionaire heiress isn’t all it’s cracked up to be. In fact, it sucks. Determined to live a quiet life, Kat Tanner changed her identity years ago and eschewed her family’s legacy. But now, Kat’s silver spoon past has finally caught up with her, and so have her youthful mistakes. To avoid imminent disaster, she must marry immediately; it is essential that the person she chooses have no romantic feelings for her whatsoever and be completely trustworthy.
Fortunately, she knows exactly who to ask. Dan O’Malley checks all the boxes: single, romantically indifferent to her, completely trustworthy. Sure, she might have a wee little crush on Dan the Security Man, but with clear rules, expectations, and a legally binding contract, Kat is certain she can make it through this debacle with her sanity—and heart—all in one piece.
Except, what happens when Dan O’Malley isn’t as indifferent—or as trustworthy—as she thought?
The Woman Left Behind by Linda Howard
Releasing March 6th, 2018
Linda Howard is definitely one of my all-time favorite authors and I have many a few favorites sitting on my bookshelf and in my e-reader. I'm eagerly awaiting this new release coming out in March and by the sound of the blurb, it's going to be keep me on the edge of my seat.
Levi Butcher is singularly devoted to his work. As team leader for the GO-Team, his unwavering focus is on the mission. Levi knows all too well that one minor distraction can hold deadly consequences. But with the soothing, sensual voice of “Babe,” the team’s communication expert, constantly in his ear, keeping his concentration on the dangerous work at hand is becoming extremely difficult.
Jina Modell definitely doesn’t feel like a “Babe,” especially when she’s working with the gruff, no-nonsense Levi. When the base where she’s stationed is attacked, Jina manages to escape but the rest of the team, working some distance away, is exfiltrated, thinking Jina died in the explosion—leaving her stranded. To survive, she’s got to figure out how to get back to safety before she’s discovered by the enemy.
Levi would never willingly leave a soldier behind, especially a brave woman whose sweet voice haunts his every thought. Once he discovers Jina is alive, the tenacious warrior will walk into fire to save this intriguing woman who has captured his heart.
The Thief (Black Dagger Brotherhood #16) by J.R. Ward
Releasing on April 10th, 2018
I have to admit that I've fallen behind with the Black Dagger Brotherhood series by about four books now. And I think I might have to start at the beginning to refresh my memory (not that it would be too much of a hardship, as I love these books). So, I'm adding The Thief to the large mountain of books on my reading list.

Having allied themselves with the Band of Bastards, the Brotherhood is committed now more than ever to eradicating the Lessening Society. Recovering from their most recent battle against the last of the lessers, the Brotherhood comes to realize that the fight against their enemies is far from over.
Throe, Xcor’s former second in command, is using an ancient tome to summon a new army engineered by a force more dangerous and evil than the Omega. And now the brothers of the Black Dagger Brotherhood will be tested both at home and on the battlefield.
The Greatest Risk (Honey #3) by Kristen Ashley
Releasing on May 1st, 2018
I haven't been hugely convinced by Kristen Ashley's foray into the world of BDSM. In the first book, The Deep End, I thought she did a sub-par story with over-the-top BDSM scenes that read along similar lines to Natural Law by Joey W Hill (interestingly, she's recommended that book to read). With the second book, The Farthest Edge , I thought she did a little better with the storyline and BDSM aspects. However, my frame of reference for good BDSM is Cherise Sinclair. I find that a lot of authors fall short of safe, sane and consensual in their storylines. Howeverm kudos to Kristen Ashley for giving this sub-genre a whirl. And, fingers crossed with this next book. I'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

A woman unable to connect, struggling to hide another part of her.
A man burning to learn her truth, and make her whole.
Through explosive passion and deep exploration, they are about to take the greatest risk of all. But will they be able to take that leap, and come out on the other side together?
Wherever You Are (KGI #12) by Maya Banks
Releasing May 1st, 2018
I've been reading this series for what seems like years. It's been a really mixed bag of stories - from the extreme of loving a story to the other extreme of hating it, with the last few books being sadly only ok reads for me. This instalment is about one of the new recruits to KGI, Skylar. I'll be interested to see whether Maya Banks can find some of her old magic with this new release.
Handling jobs the U.S. government can’t...When some well-deserved R & R turns into a volatile situation for Skylar Watkins, she knows her team will never get to her in time. Her only hope is a promise once made to her by a desperate, grateful man—and his squad is within range…
Driven by a steely demeanor and fierce loyalty, the warrior now tasked with saving Skylar’s life knows her value to the KGI. He’s seen firsthand how daring—and lethal—she can be. He’ll get her back or die trying, but what he isn’t prepared for is the desire to keep her close, for wanting her to remain in his arms and under his watch…forever.
Dr Strange Beard (Winston Brothers #5) by Penny Reid
Releasing on July 10th, 2018
The Winston Brothers series is proving to be a real favorite of mine. I'm not surprised though, as it's Penny Reid. I don't have much of a clue about Roscoe as he's usually away or surprisingly quiet, but it's always the quiet ones as they say. Plus he's the baby of the family. I am so looking forward to discovering everything about him, his lady love and to spend more time in Green Valley with all the Winstons. I really want to read Billy's book, but the fact that it will be the last one in the series, means Penny's probably saving the best for last.
Everyone in Green Valley, Tennessee knows that the six bearded Winston brothers have been imbued with an unfair share of charm and charisma… and are prone to mischief.
Releasing August 10th, 2018
I thoroughly enjoyed The Duchess Deal as one of the last few reads in 2017. Tessa Dare has a very unique writing voice and her stories are packed with humor, so I'm looking forward to the next book in this series.
